Prices Set To Soar on Gasoline to Record Highs By Mid-Summer

Just announced was an increase in the price per barrel of crude oil. Crude oil is the basis for what makes the gas our cars use. Here is a small comparison chart that shows the average price per barrel for crude oil for recent years:
  • 2001 - $23.00
  • 2002 - $22.81
  • 2003 - $27.69
  • 2004 - $37.41
  • 2005 - $50.04
  • 2006 - $58.30
  • 2007 - $64.20
  • 2008 - $84.70
As you can see so far this year has shown the most significant price increase in recent history. But guess what? Its going to get worse...

As we enter the Summer vacation season, a well known season for higher than normal gas prices anyway, analysts are predicting that by the end of Summer we will NEVER see gas prices drop below $4 a gallon again!

So does this mean you and your family will have to skip vacation this year? Possibly, if you aren't prepared for the increased prices. But more over this price of gas affects you here today even while you are still at home.

How? Simple it costs more for the manufacturers to ship their products because of increased fuel charges and guess who pays those increased charges? YOU DO - at the grocery store register checkout.
